Welcome to my blog!
The blog is the first page you see on my web site, with current stories to keep the web site fresh. I mostly write stories about the vision fast (also known as vision quest), the teachings of the four directions (a nature-based psychology), and the medicine wheel (a way of channeling the energies of the four directions). I guide vision fast retreats in the BC wilderness, with basecamp at or around my land, Monkey Valley. So over the years I've also shared stories of the wildlife, the land, my misadventures in building repairs and maintenance, and what it is like to live in the wilderness. Sometimes I write about things that happen when I'm running, and bizarre stuff my mind comes up with. I have a lot of fun writing it and I hope you'll have fun reading it.
